About BuildBust.com
In a recent issue of Jakob Greenfeld's newsletter, he talked about how people tend to fall into two camps: either we overthink everything and never launch, or we rush to ship half-baked ideas. It hit home for me, as I've been guilty of both.
So, I thought I'd create a little tool that might help. It's inspired by Jakob's "tight aggressive" concept, and it's here to help you quickly assess if an idea is worth pursuing.
Think of it as a friendly reality check before you dive too deep. It's not about crushing dreams, just about making sure we're putting our energy into the right places.

Tight Aggressive Entrepreneurship
Many founders tend to fall at one of two extremes: they overanalyze and never ship anything, or they ship tons of random crap.
The first is more common, the second is better. At least you're shooting on goal.
But both approaches are far from optimal.
In poker, most world class players play a style known as "tight aggressive".
They are tight about entering pots, but play aggressive when they do.
That seems like a great strategy for entrepreneurship too.
Carefully choose what you work on, but once you do, pursue the project with intensity.
